I want to do my senior project on cosmetology; I would like to attend some classes at Emily Griffith to learn about the different techniques on cutting hair and styling hair. I have always experimented with my hair in different hairstyles. I would like to learn which hair cut looks good on people. I also would like to learn about the different types of skin care. My plan is to take a full year at Emily to do cosmetology. I will register for cosmetology class. I know that I will start my cosmetology classes in the fall. I want to help PS1 seniors get register and take classes at Emily Griffin.

My senior project would consist of two parts. One is that I would like to teach Jameson how to play the guitar, and in turn to get better from the experience. I think the way some people get better at something is to try and teach it to others. The second part to my senior project will be to research the connection between mathematics and music. I helped many people with math in the past, and that alone has improved my mathematical capabilities. I will record all my practice sessions with Jameson to show growth, not only for him, but mine as well. Math and music are both my favorite subjects and pastimes. I want to find the connection between these two, and in turn, I might be able to teach music to people and help with their math at the same time. Peter Hornbein is going to be my expert in this area of the project, since he has knowledge of the connection between math and music. He will guide it until I learn enough, and then I will try and apply it to teach math with playing guitar.
